Biography

Born in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Began rowing as a cox when 10 years old. Has been practicing rowing as an athlete and coach for more than 60 years. Was rowing champion at Rio Grande do Sul for six consecutive years in 2 (without cox), 4 (without cox) and 8. Was Brazilian champion for 2 times in 2 and 4 (without cox). Elected the best athlete of the year representing Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil). Attended South America Rowing Games two times representing Brazil.
